Amanita Phalloides. The Death cap. hard to tell by the pictures but there is a green tinge to the cap which is otherwise whitish to pale buff. Other key features: Annulus aka skirt or ring, close gills which are usually pure white, a vulva which is the bulbus thing at the base of the stem. this mushroom grows terrestrially and usually singular to gregarious patches because it is a mycorrhizal fungus (symbiotic relation ship with trees). Some sites say it is considered responsible for some 90% of mushroom fatalities around the world.
